Jackson County Outreach Committee - Meals on Wheels

The Jackson County Outreach Committee is excited to continue their work with Meals on Wheels and would love for you to join in!
This is an easy, rewarding way to give back to our community. Here’s how it works:
  • When: We deliver once a month on the third Friday.
    Pick-up is at 11:00 AM on the 4th floor of the hospital (Schneck Medical Center).
  • What to do: You’ll receive a list of clients and deliver the meals. Routes vary in size (2–5 coolers).
  • How long it takes: About one hour.
  • Who can help: One person can handle a route, but two people make it more fun! As long as you have room in your vehicle for the coolers, you’re good to go.
There are also a few spots open for more permanent volunteers. Meals on Wheels requires a short application and photo release form (attached) so they know who is visiting clients.
